Gai studied film and production design at the American Film Institute in Los Angeles, California. It was there that she was handpicked to return to Thailand. She was asked to work on the film Heaven and Earth, as an assistant in the art department. This was the start of a passionate career. In 1997 she began working under the title Thai Art Director, running entire art departments. In between films, you can find Gai running a cooking school and home-style cafe in Hua-Hin, a beach town south of Bangkok. Her ridiculously good cheesecakes usually disappear 3 minutes after they are placed on the shelf. PROFILE
